Mac OS beta test program
Thank you for your interest in the Mac OS beta test program.
Today, over 10,000 users run
mccPILOTLOG on a total of 25,000 devices. Many pilots run the software on Mac OS under virtual Windows. On request of those users, we decided to develop a cross-platform Windows/Mac application.
You need to know that we have 1 full time coder developing mobile apps on iPhone / iPad, another person doing the same job on Android / Blackberry and a third employee coding and supporting the same app on Windows Phone. Three times the cost and three times bugs... This is what we want to avoid for the Mac / PC application, taking into account that the main program has some 85.000 lines of source code...
For the past 18 months, a dedicated team of 5 members has been working full-time on the development of a complete new application. We opted for a coding language than runs cross-platform on Mac, Windows and even on Linux. The latter is not targeted and is still under investigation.

The release of the Mac software is now planned for Q4-2014.
Beta test program
Today, a total of 250 pilots is participating in the BETA test program. The number of participants is limited to make sure that major bugs will not affect a large number of pilots and are cleared prior to official release.
There are another 600 pilots on the waiting list to take part in the BETA test program. The waiting list is closed, we will not add any more pilots.
The BETA test program consists of 5 test programs, prior to official release. We are currently running BETA 4. BETA 5 is planned for October 2014, after which we plan to go live.
