        We have the pleasure of releasing mccPILOTLOG Version 4 on Mac OS.

mccPILOTLOG was originally developed as a Windows application. Version 4.0 is a cross-platform application that runs straight on your Mac OS without the need for any virtual windows !

mccPILOTLOG is the only electronic pilot logbook offering you the freedom of combining any desktop platform with any mobile device ! You can actually synchronize your Blackberry phone with Windows PC, or your Android tablet with MacBook !

In the meantime, our team has started working on Version 5 ( PC / Mac / Cloud ). All users on Windows and Mac will migrate to Version 5 by the end of 2017.

        The MCC Team is releasing a brandnew Pilot Unit Converter for iOS and Android Phone/Tablet. The app replaces the former mccPILOTCAL app with new functions and with a multi-language interface.

mccCONVERT is a handy tool for daily use onboard your aircraft. The app converts many aviation units for Air Pressure, Temperature, Distance, ... Calculate Fuel Uplift, Fuel Endurance and Fuel Range. Decode Snowtam, calculate wind components. Calculate Obstacle Climb Gradient and Rate of Climb...

        mccPILOTLOG is swamped by pilots that quit on LogTen Pro as Coradine introduces its new subscription plan. Most pilots reported to be enraged by the expensive annual charge, going across 2,000 USD for a 30-years flying career.

Here is a list of commonly asked questions should you consider the transfer to mccPILOTLOG :

1. Does mccPILOTLOG run on Mac ?

mccPILOTLOG was originally developed as a Windows application. Version 4.0 is a cross-platform application that runs straight on your Mac OS without the need for any virtual windows !

This new application may not have the ”look-and-feel” you would expect from native Mac software. However, mccPILOTLOG is the only electronic pilot logbook offering you the freedom of combining any desktop platform with any mobile device ! Yes, you can sync your Blackberry phone with Windows PC, or your Android tablet with MacBook !


2. Will you change your payment plan towards a subscription model, like Coradine ?

mccPILOTLOG charges a one-time payment for life-time use of the software. There are no extra charges for software updates and for Helpdesk support 24/7. A team of 16 people is working full-time on mccPILOTLOG and associated apps. It requires simple math to understand the difficult balance between monthly returning costs versus one-time earnings...

We may move towards a similar subscription model. However, contrary to Coradine, the new payment plan would apply only to new customers. Existing customers can continue to use the app without being charged per month or year.

4. Can I import my records from LogTen Pro ?

mccPILOTLOG imports data from 40 other electronic logbooks, including LogTen Pro. Follow the guidelines published here.
