Installation & Update Errors

mccPILOTLOG  runs on a wide range of platforms (Windows 32-bit and 64-bit, Mac OS, Linux), with different Service Packs, with different regional settings (decimals, comma's,...) and different language settings (UK, German, Japanese, Latin-America,...). As a result, you may encounter a run time error while the application runs fine on other computers.

mccPILOTLOG  contains more than 57.000 lines of source code, and we are adding more functions every day. We are pilots and humans, so we make mistakes. Although thoroughly tested, a bug can still occur, resulting in a Run Time Error.

Do NOT re-install the software to fix a Run Time Error, even if you can no longer start the software !

Here is a list of common errors and their fixes. Contact the Help Desk whenever you require additional support ! Your feedback is highly appreciated ! Please accept our apologies for any inconveniences.

- The application is stored in 2 locations. The start-up part (splash screen) is located in C:\Program Files\MCC Pilotlog. You should not move this part, this location is default Windows.

- The main application (with the database) is located in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\MCC Pilotlog   (you can copy/paste this link straight into the windows explorer bar)     You can move this part to any other location.
