The Help file remains always accessible, also in case of a software breakdown. In that case, you can open the Help file directly from the \Help subfolder, default located here : C: \ Program Files \ MCC Pilotlog \ Help

Is this software really ''FREE'' ?

Indeed, the Standard Edition is free of charge and comes with an open license. This means that you can log an unlimited number of flight records and simulator sessions, and the software and database do not expire with time !

Furthermore, you have unlimited access to all software updates.

The PRO and ENT Editions offer additional features. These editions are available for purchase only.

How do I update my software ?

Both the Standard and PRO/ENT Edition automatically search for new updates a few seconds after launching the application. If your computer is connected to internet and a new update is detected, the new update is downloaded automatically. Generally, updates take no longer than a few seconds to download (broadband connection).

Manual update donwloading remains available from the application's Tools page.

You will be notified when a new software update is being downloaded and when download is completed. The new update is installed at the next start of the application. You do not need to reboot your computer.

How do I transfer MCC Pilotlog to another computer ?

If you are moving to another computer, refer to the Install Errors page - section 'Other' for transfer instructions.

You do not require a new PRO or ENT license. Your license key is linked to your name, not to your computer. Enter your license key on the new computer.

Can I install MCC Pilotlog on two computers at the same time ?

If both computers are connected through a local network, you can run the application simultaneously from both computers on a single database. You first need to install the software on both computers separately and save the software on a common network path.

If your question is related to the ''PC at home'' and ''laptop onboard'' scenario, you can move your database from one PC to the other PC with the Enterprise Edition. A more powerful PC-to-PC sync tool will be available in the future.

Can I install MCC Pilotlog on my PDA ?

MCC Pilotlog comes with complementary software applications for iPhone, Android and Windows Mobile.
iPhone is active today, Android and Windows Mobile are expected September 2010.

Take your PDA onboard the aircraft and synchronize all flights with the PC.
